1crowdedhour is the best company ever, and we love our State Fair.

Thanks again! I had such a blast. But wow, my feet!

Looking online for a flat muffin top pan so I can BAKE the breakfast delicacy.

Ibuprofen is our friend.

Just got home from first day at the fair, which included a four-hour stint demonstrating spinning. I didn't get enough done, after that but I did see the bunnies and Heritage Square, and wandered around a lot. (My feet, too!)

I'm embarrassed to say that the trip home was lengthened by about 40 minutes because I lost my car. This is particularly annoying because in the morning I specifically asked the name of the park-and-ride lot I was at. Also exacerbated by the fact that my new car is essentially anonymous. But I finally found it and got home, where I am rehydrating.

I also got to see a nice fireworks show from the Saints game while I was waiting for the bus.

Back again on Labor Day, when I'll be demonstrating from 9 to 1. Plans for next time include crop art/ag building, creative activities bulding, fine arts, and maybe the Grandstand.

I forgot to go to the rabbit barn. Completely spaced it.

I'm not sure why I need to see the bunnies every year, but I do. I finally got it through my brain that they're always there the first few days of the fair.

Are you going back to see the llama costumes? That's sometime next week, I believe.

I may try, but I've failed so frequently, i've resigned myself to missing the llama costumes in this lifetime.

Bunnies are a must. Particularly the white ones with black eyeliner.
