Empty Nesting  
One of the things about having an empty nest is that you get to do really cool things like, not worry about stuff other people don't want to eat. Himself and I _like_ chicken livers, and mushrooms, and onions. So, here's last night's dinner.

You can serve this over noodles or over rice. Yesterday, I made pilaf.

Photobucket Onions and mushrooms, sauteed in garlic olive oil and butter.

Put them in a bowl. Added the bacon, and when it was very nearly done, added the chicken livers, that I had seasoned with salt, pepper and a little bit of soy sauce.

Finished and plated.

Chicken livers might not be to your taste, but you could do this without them easily. Takes about 30 minutes from start to finish.

Yum! I love chicken livers and onions, and never get them. (I used to have an uncle who owned a restaurant where that was a specialty, so I started on them young.)

Oh, yum! I too love chicken livers, and no one else in this house will eat them.

I like all those things but mushrooms. But I can cut them easily. ^_^

Sounds good to me, though I prefer my chicken livers chopped up.
