show that was - Blood Ties
I've been mainlining Blood Ties the last couple of days, and yes, the books were better and the reimagining of Henry Fitzroy as a young graphic novelist was a bit disconcerting, but it was a guilty pleasure. Done now, and the final episode is why I haven't rewatched this show since.

Anyone else watch and love this show?

Also, fleshflutter is having a party, a love meme here, might be worth your while :-)

I read all the books, and rather enjoyed the TV show, though they did diverge significantly. By "last episode," do you mean the online ones that were never shown, or the just the aired ones?

I'm not sure I've seen all the online ones, though I did try.

IIRC, there were only two episodes that didn't air in the US. I did mean episode 22, the one that left me gasping at the end.

Blood Ties is brilliant ... I much preferred it to Tru Blood - I liked the characters more for a start.

Vicky and Corinne especially for me. The switch of a middle aged romance writer to a smoking hot young graphic novelist changed the entire dynamic and added a layer to the story telling that was important for tv. I just wish I knew why Lifetime pulled the plug. I know it was driving viewers to them. *sigh*
