It was 22 degrees when I left the house this morning. The difference between this week and last is mind boggling.

Today, I have an eye doctor's appointment, actually, I should leave in a couple of minutes.

I have to get the right size needles for the body of Green Gable so I can finish it and ponder my Olympic Knitting.

I have to finish putting away all the holiday decorations.

I need to figure out a middle to my beginning and end.

I was reminded to update my Ravelry queue

What are you all doing?

I'm kicking myself for not taking a picture of the leaf scarf because as of last night, I had 1.5 pattern repeats and leaves! Actual recognizable cabled leaves and I'm just so pleased with myself. Plus I got halfway through the pattern without having to fudge a purl increase. We'll see how the other half goes - if I can make one whole 24 line set without muttering "Purl one, two, three, four, aaaand ... marker. No, not supposed to be marker, supposed to be purl five. Where'd five go? Waaah!" which really entertains Himself but is getting kind of old to me.

I need to clear out my queue, actually. I've got five tank patterns on there, because I haven't taken the time to figure out which one actually suits my needs best. Why yes, I do still have the black-gray-pink shell on needles while I'm on to another time consuming project and looking for tank patterns, why do you ask?

and dude, you've got a big chunk of beginning, and some middle and one line for the end. I figure you are right on schedule for mid february. 8-)

If it's a 32 inch #9 circular I'm going to laugh and laugh.

reading did you see the news about the SGA BigBang? New set up. gblvr modding now. Also, nifty OT4 posted this morning at non_mcsmooch. 8-) Nonplussed!John is among my favorites.

I sure wish you would. Want to see it and it's not like it's easy to drop by.

Yeah, the end is one line, but I know how the scene goes in my head, especially with the riding around on the shoulders and waving and flags and all.

It's a 10.5. I thought I had one, but it turned out to be an 11.

I did, but neither of the stories in THAT queue are 20K worth. *whew*

Well, at the moment I'm about to go have lunch with my mother. After that I will alternate squeezing my book down to size with cleaning up mouse depredations in the upstairs and clearing up enough clutter that maybe the spry but still, after all, 15-year-old cat can actually catch a mouse or two.

They appear to have been subsisting on the biodegradable packing peanuts I was saving to put in the compost.

Not, then, gourmet mice. Hope your mom is well, and that the book's diet is progressing as it should.
