TV Natter
Castle is still on the bubble for renewal, which makes me sad. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing my beloved Weevil last night, nice that Francis Capra is working. He was a really good thing about Veronica Mars, another show I loved. Maybe I should quit watching TV?

Still no news on Dollhouse, although 'they' say it doesn't look good.

*sigh* At least I'll have one more season of Supernatural.

Come to think of it, several shows got too stupid to watch in the last year (translation: even the other people in my household don't watch them).

  • Himself would rather watch The Big Break than find out what happens to Jack Bauer (I would rather watch paint dry).

  • The Boy™ used to host Heroes Night on Tuesday, because three of his friends worked Monday nights. They haven't done that in a couple of months

  • Himself used to watch The Unit. Not anymore

  • I was shocked at what appears to be the launch of the NCIS spinoff. Out of Abby love and the cool video stuff, I will give it one more shot, but there's not a character in the 'new' cast that engaged me. Chris O'Donnell isn't pretty enough, and I didn't buy his character. They seem to be trying for Nicolai, and he doesn't have the chops to pull that off.

Still watching House and Bones

I've added Fringe to my DVR queue

But will _I_ like it? It looks almost too cute.

I think so, there is definitely an Xfiles feel to it, John Noble as Walter Bishop is one of the more interesting characters I've seen on TV.
Give it a shot, there is a conspiracy aspect to it, but it's easy to pick up.

What's the NCIS spinoff?

I removed 24 from my to-be-watched queue during the fourth season, and I've never regretted the decision. (This is a big thing for me; once I commit to a show, I rarely give up on it.)

I hope Castle makes the cut.

I wasn't happy with the premise, or obviously, the cast.

I stopped caring about Jack and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day after S4 as well. Himself was still watching it at the beginning of this year.

Me, too. I really like the chemistry between the characters, and I love the Castle family. I like banter. Who'd've guessed?

I started calling one of the tougher players in my poker game "Kitten" he didn't like it.
