Swallows go back to Capistrano, Buzzards to Hinkley. In Minnesota, there's no specific day, but when the geese show up, it means the end of winter is Real Soon Now. Oh no. And here I thought the mourning dove investigating my own daylily bed, which is open to wandering cats and the neighbors' dogs, was a bit dim.
