There probably aren't 50 shows I've watched enough to have an opinion of. But this looks suspiciously weighted to new stuff, and the absence of things like Hill Street Blues is highly suspicious. I think this is a very idiosyncratic view of "best TV series" -- even more idiosyncratic than mine would be :-).

Yeah, I'm not sure that I'd actually put Friends on my own Best Of list, though its longevity shows I'm hopelessly out of tune with the Nielsen families.

I'm happy to see Red Dwarf and Fawlty Towers on the list, though.
