I do wish this wasn't coinciding with rehearsals for the play I'm working on, 'cause I'd be there in a heartbeat.

On the other hand: Two rehearsals so far, two nights of knitting, and the costumers want me to make a couple of lace wraps to go with 1920s summer-wear. So I'll still be knitting ...

Great buttons - I'm definitely on Team Caffeine!

Team Caffeine!!!
I wanted to come tell you that I love your Team Caffeine button! I wasn't going to do the Knitting Olympics until I saw your button, and now I'm in. I couldn't resist.

If I weren't already on Team Angstylvania I'd go Team Goth too. Maybe if I finish my first "event" hahahahahhaha....

Re: eyeliner *snort*

I've missed you! Pretty sure you can have dual citizenship. I loved the Angstylvania story, it's partially to blame for this insanity.

Re: eyeliner *snort*

Re: eyeliner *snort*
I added you to the RSS feeds on livejournal. If anyone over there wants the Feed, you are Inkyknits (I'm far too lazy to click a link when I can get everything on one page)

It's so good to see you!

team MN baby!

Might even be cold enough next week to make us feel like it's the winter games, huh? What are you knitting?

I'm torn between Team Caffine and Team Chocolate
beadslutbeadslut on February 3rd, 2006 09:42 pm (UTC)
There's a Team Caffeine, Chocolate and Merlot button on a subsequent entry, I've added that link above. Maybe you'll find what you need there?

Team chocolate!! I love you!

beadslutbeadslut on February 3rd, 2006 09:44 pm (UTC)
Thanks :-)

There's another one in a subsequent entry with a heart shaped box "for when you just have to get through another row" I linked it to this one.

Team Caffeine
I love the Team Caffeine button! I will be drinking plenty of coffee as my Olympic project is the Lillehammer Olympic Sweater :)

Team Caffeine vs. Team Merlot
Love the buttons for Knitting Olympics...But, how to choose? Chocolate, cheese, wine or coffee..... Love'em.

Re: Team Caffeine vs. Team Merlot
no need to choose - collect them all!

Wonderful Buttons!
Those are just fantastic! I'm curious--can you just pick a team you'd like to belong to and put its button on your blog? (I'm awfully partial to team Goth!) Also, how do you post the button? I'm not terribly familiar with how to use them. Thank you very much!

Re: Wonderful Buttons!
Pretty sure that's how it works. There are several more selections in the subsequent posts :-)

You may copy the image to your own server and add them to your blog from there, I can only speak to how it's done in live journal.

Thanks for the kind words!

Knitting Olympics Buttons
Joss is MY master as well! Love your buttons. I'm trying to decided which Knitting Olympics group to join. Most likely I'll be doing one of Hello Yarns's Pirate hats...but I don't know if I should put a Team Goth or Drunken Pirates button on my page.
Decisions, decisions...
beadslutbeadslut on February 3rd, 2006 09:39 pm (UTC)
Re: Knitting Olympics Buttons
I am reasonably sure that those two in particular are not mutually exclusive. Think of them as Germany, once divided into Pirates and Goths, they are now one ... no that's just too silly. Why is all the rum gone?
telizasonewomanshow on February 5th, 2006 09:24 pm (UTC)
Team MN I am! Is Torino your choice as a pattern? Is it customizable? :D
beadslutbeadslut on February 6th, 2006 02:30 pm (UTC)
Torino on the buttons refers to Torino, Italy where the real Olympics are being held. Torino the sweater is a little (ha!) beyond my skill level. While stranded knitting IS on deck for this year, I'd rather not try to learn it in the 16 day window.

What would you like on your license plate?
