The bulky is Briar Rose Sonoma for a Pembroke shawlette. The sock is Girl on Fire, how was I supposed to resist? Accompanied by Aim True pattern for it. The other pattern is Weekend Wrap, when Stephen B hands me a pattern, I buy it.

Snow Patrol last night.

I don't even have words. The level of naked honest feeling is totally overwhelming, and I had to work hard to squelch my inner cynic, but so worth it.

Also, Gary Lightbody is about as tall as the Padalecki boy, and shares a great many characteristics with the Cumberbatch. He's not as pretty but so charismatic. Frankly, I was enchanted.

Also, three hours of sleep and a full day's work and a couple of glasses of wine, so judge me as you like.

To all of you who suffer with me.

Here are the things I'm bringing to potluck.

Onion and dill bread.  Smells heavenly.

Chocolate Beet Bundt.  Slice missing as the wee one helped me bake it, and it needed QC.  I think it baked 5 minutes too long, she wanted seconds.

Early in February I got some version of the plague. It was an influenza like thing, achey, feverish, then it settled into my lungs, and I was flat on my back for a couple of days. I was starting to feel better, when I slipped on some ice in the parking lot at work, and swung out my right arm for balance. Yeah, right arm, the one with bursitis in the shoulder. I didn't fall, go me. I did wrench the shoulder pretty well. I have so much more practical understanding of free arm injuries in bull riding.

So, I've been limping along, working on getting enough sleep and eating right. Yesterday, at a follow up doc visit for the shoulder, I whined complained about the pain I was still having when I cough/sneeze/laugh. You guessed it. I did not cough up a lung, but I did stress fracture a rib.

Other than that, it's good.
