For Reasons, I was going through my iTunes playlist and rediscovered Alison Moyet. I fell in love with her all over again, and she has a new album out, yay! But not in the USA until 6/11, boo!

The video is on youtube and stunning, the album streams on soundcloud, but I can't own it. *mutters* No wonder they compare her to Adele. Same thing all over again.

72 degrees.

We spent the last break from winter picking up what Odin left in the yard all winter, so today's clean-up was minimal. A hundred pound dog leaves a lot to clean up.

I was sleeveless for about ten minutes. No reason to get crazy, after all.

Who knew? All I had to do ws finish a bulky knit sweater to end winter. Note to self: remember this trick for next year.

I knit Wednesday and her mom this sweater for Christmas. This is the same size as the mom sweater, but I added bust darts to accommodate my physique.



Pleased with the improved fit. Now to sew in the ends and block.

While I was signing my name to the lane assignment at the shooting range, the (male) clerk asked if I was wearing "I'm Not Really a Waitress". Never thought about it for a second, but replied "No, it's Keys To My Karma."

Tomorrow I have to stand up in front of a group of my colleagues and tell them how to do a thing.

I am flailing over what not to wear.

I have Too Many Things going on.

Most of all, Odie has an ear infection. First one in five years. This requires me to pill him daily, and clean his ears twice a day. Then, when they have all dried out and stuff, to medicate said ears. You know what he hates most in the world? Having his ears messed with. He weighs a hundred some pounds, and he's very very strong, and I am pleased as anything that Himself has not figured out how to record videos with the phone.



In other news, I am allergic to dog saliva, sweat and, you guessed it. Ear wax.

Tomorrow is the day. I'm starting a KAL (knitalong) on Ravelry to knit John's jumper.

Cant. Start. Yet.

I am way the fuck behind on the everything.

I am annoyed with so many things, that I have to blame the temperature. -9 is like not even real.

The car is playing an interesting electronic dashboard dance that reminds me it has almost 200K miles on it, and that makes me cranky. I don't like anticipating the spend.
